So Much To Tell!

I can not believe its been so long since I have posted, time flies when you are busy being the cutest King in the world! Let's see, I took my first steps on 3/13/07. I am getting really good at it now, but still prefer being carried. Then on 3/15/07, I got my first haircut. It was a bittersweet experience for mommy and daddy, but the hair was getting long. I still have my kewpie doll curl in the front though. I enjoyed the haircut, I got to sit in a big jeep chair and listen to music, I was standing up and doing my John Travolta dance as I was getting the cut. This is all on video if anyone wants to see :o)

Then on 3/17/07 was my first birthday! Everyone put so much planning to make it a great day for me, my party was the day after a major ice storm, so lots of family were iced into their houses, so only about half of our invited guests were able to come, but we still had fun, I got to play with so many balloons, which are one of my favorite things. We sang karaoke, I had lots of fun playing with my cousin Troy, he is so funny! My BFF Gina Marie was there to play with us, she is walking so good! I figure a month from now we can really run around. GM's mom made corned beef and cabbage for everyone to go along with the other delicious food made by Grandma and adopted Grandma Mary. I got lots of great presents, and La Madrina Auntie Rinda bought me the awesomest wagon, Mommy calls it my chariot and can't wait to take me out in it! My chariot even has a safari theme and there is a giraffe on it. I love Giraffes just like Great Grandma Florida. Pretty soon I am going to go to the Bronx Zoo with Mommy and Madrina to see the new baby giraffe.

The only negative thing I have to report is that my tummy hurts :o(

Mommy thinks I have rota virus bc my poopy smells really bad and I can clear out a roo with one toot of gas. I am still happy as long as mommy holds me, I have no appetite for anything but the boo boos. Mommy is so glad we still nurse or else I would be so dehydrated by now. Hopefully I am over the worst part and can start feeling better so I can plan my zoo trip. That's about all for now. Hugs, Kisses, and Loves to everyone.

Love,

Patrick The King

Aaaahhhh...is this what stuffed feels like?

Tonight for the first time I had a meal from The Cheesecake Factory. A true meal, that I chewed, swallowed and digested all by myself, this is a big achievement since past TCF meals were only enjoyed via placenta or breast milk. It was a busy day, food shopping at Whole Foods and then Fairway, then we went to TCF, it was a LONG wait, good thing I am such an easygoing baby! Finally we are seated, I had lots of fun throwing silverware on the floor, then they brought out the bread, deelish! Then I had some mac and cheese, fries, and more bread, all of which I dipped into the delicious bbq ranch sauce (if anyone has the recipe, please pass it along to my mommy!) I was quite the dignified eater, definitely 4 stars when it came to etiquitte! When I was done, I only had food on my face, hair, shirt, arms, mommy's shirt, Auntie Rinda's shoes, etc. But I had nothing on my pants, like I mentioned I am very neat hen I eat. Then I shared a slice of tiramisu cheesecake with mommy, mmmmm mmmm mmmmm! After we were done, the mall was closed but we were still able to go into it to get to the parking garage, we stopped at a sitting area in the center so mom could clean me up as best she could without an autoclave. During cleanup she had to strip me down to put my pj's on, then I made the escape, crawling all over the place like a commercial for cow babylegs! It was late at this point, after 11:30, which is the latest I have ever been out of the house, but hey it was for TCF! I still had so much energy, and I looked quite adorable, if I do say so myself. The ride home was a bit rough, as I hate to be restrained in my carseat, especially once I started getting tired, since I am King though, everyone serenaded me with the theme song from wonderpets, then the lovely remake of "If your happy and you know it clap your hands" The new version since 2006 is "If you love Patrick and you know it clap your hands!" I know your clapping as you read this, how could you not? Anyway I am sound asleep now, glad I dictated this blog entry to Mommy b4 I went to sleep. I told Mommy when I want to go to TCF again I will just point in that direction, since pointing is all I have to do to get all my needs met! Oh its wonderful being the baby of the family!

Potential Acting Role

Mom got an email yesterday from a casting director who is doing a movie in April. They were looking for a baby up to 14 months old and preferred brown hair and brown eyes. Who better to fit the bill than moi? So this is the email (last names left out since moms not sure about legalities):

"Hi Heather,My casting director Chris R. forwarded me over the head shotfor your adorable baby. I would love to meet the two of you sometimewithin the next couple weeks to further discuss working together on myupcoming film, On the Fence.I very much look forward to hearing from you! Thanks,Marcela C."

So I will update here when there is something to report. Love you all!

Almost a Year...

Mommy can not believe that in two more weeks I am going to be a year old. She has been working hard planning my party, we could not decide on a theme because i just love so many things. It is going to be a Dora and Diego Animal rescue Karaoke Party. I love to sing and see other people sing, so this will be so much fun. This morning I was practicing by singing along to the Diego theme song, I carry a tune so well. I will definitely have a chocolate cake, since chocolate is my favorite food, well second favorite, my first is my Boo boos. I can't wait to see everyone. I can show people how I give kisses so good now. Check back here often for updates on my daily triumphs.
Love,
Patrick
